About

A George's Street pub since 1904.

Walters is an independent bar, restaurant and music venue in the heart of Dún Laoghaire, just a 2-minute walk from The People's Park. Walters has been here since 1904, and the pub reopened under new management in January 2022. We have free live music Wednesday to Sunday downstairs in the pub, as well as regular ticketed gigs and events upstairs at The Venue at Walters. See the food menu before you book a table.

In collaboration with ArtNetDLR, Walters is home to rotating exhibitions containing art adhering to a theme by local professional artists.

Our food menus were designed with a passion for fantastic food made with the best ingredients. We regularly update the menu and have lots of seasonal specials.

At Walters we have an extensive drinks menu with everything from draught beers and ciders, wines, cocktails, soft drinks, hot drinks & plenty of non-alcoholic options. We also have rotating drink specials so be sure to ask next time you're in!
